It's that time of year again. "Dancing with the Stars" 2017, season 25, will air this fall and talk is already underway about the popular reality show. When is the fall season premiere and who's going to be on the show? ABC announced the premiere date for the upcoming season so fans have something to get excited about. It's going to be a while before we learn who is going to be included in the new cast, but some rumblings have begun over at least one or two prospects.

When does the show kick off?

ABC revealed that the "Dancing With The Stars" 2017 fall season will premiere on Monday, September 18.

While the cast hasn't been confirmed, the show's hosts -- Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews -- are expected to be back. Rashad Jennings won the Mirrorball trophy in season 24 of "Dancing with the Stars" during the spring. The series will return with the professional dancers and their star partners for more impressive dance routines.

Who might be on the show?

When it comes to possible contestants for the 2017 fall season, Rachel Lindsey from "The Bachelorette" is one of the possibilities. Her season of the show is currently airing and it's thought that she might be on the cast list. Several leads from "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" have signed on for the show with the exception of a few.

According to Gold Derby, a poll taken by "Dancing with the Stars" fans showed that world champion skateboarder Tony Hawk was most favored to appear on the show.

Others they voted for were Macaulay Culkin, Richard Carn, Christopher Lloyd, Rick Moranis, and Frank Muniz.

A July 22 article posted by the website had fun with the idea of politicos appearing on season 25. How would fans like seeing Donald Trump's former White House press secretary Sean Spicer compete on the show? Other names listed for fun were Kellyanne Conway, Ben Carson, Michael Flynn, Jared Kushner, Jeff Sessions, and Ivanka Trump.

These aren't realistic candidates considering their high-profile roles with the United States government, but it's an interesting list, nonetheless.

Who would you like to see on the show? If the network sticks to tradition, there will be some stars from the past, world-class athletes, and at least one who's not physically active on a regular basis.
