Although the next “James Bond” movie already has a working title of “Bond 25,” it is not yet known if Daniel Craig is going to reprise his role as the British Secret Service agent. Now, the movie franchise’s producers think what can lure the 49-year-old actor to get back in the film.

In a report made by IndieWire, this might be the right time for the husband of Rachel Weisz to fictionally save the world as the movie’s villains are coming real. George Orwell’s fear in his 1984 novel are getting real like Donald Trump is now the U.S. president, his alleged connection with Vladimir Putin, the threat of Brexit and the non-stop WikiLeaks.

Writers want Daniel Craig to reprise his role

The scriptwriters of “Bond 25,” Neal Purvis and Robert Wade, are eyeing to present all these points to Craig to make him return in the “James Bond” movie.

“Each time, you’ve got to say something about Bond’s place in the world, which is Britain’s place in the world,” Purvis told the Telegraph. “But things are moving so quickly now, that becomes tricky. With people like Trump, the Bond villain has become a reality.”

Actor hints his return in the movie franchise

To recall, Craig said before that he would rather slash his wrists than to reprise his role in the next “James Bond” film. However, it looks like he had a change of mind when he graced the 2016’s New York Film Festival.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” actor believed that he has the “best job in the world” by doing the “007” franchise. Hence, he explained that he would keep doing the film series as long as he’s enjoying doing it. “If I were to stop doing it, I would miss it terribly,” he said at the event.

As “Spectre” gave a satisfying ending, the fifth “James Bond” film of Craig might tell a different story.

And as the “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider” actor also plays as the co-producer of the movie, he would surely help to shape its story.

Possible production and release date of the film

The next “James Bond” film, “Bond 25,” remains hanging until Craig decides if he is going to reprise his role or not. Also, the movie has to find its next A-list director after Sam Mendes’ exit. Hence, the movie could start filming in 2018 and might be released in 2019.
