Since Daniel Craig announced that he wouldn't be reprising his role in “James Bond” movie series, a lot of names are now surfacing to replace him. From Idris Elba to Tom Hiddleston, it is not yet official who will take the role of 007.
However, there is a new name emerging today that has the potential to be the next fictional British Secret Service agent. Jack Huston is now added to the list of the possible actors that could take the role of the iconic character.
Will it be a white or black actor?
Apparently, Jack Huston is a personal favorite of the “James Bond” producer Barbara Broccoli.
But, it has been said that she is looking forward to having a black actor playing the role. In fact, there are strong assumptions that Idris Elba might replace Daniel Craig, but he now has a big name to play the role.
However, according to a source from Daily Mail, the 56-year-old’s real intention is just to find an actor to wear the legendary suit, and it doesn’t matter if he is black, brown or white. All she wanted is a great actor that could perfectly pull off the role.
But, there are also reports saying that the husband of Rachel Weisz is still zealous to do the film than to leave it behind. Although nothing is officially announced yet, the screenwriters Robert Wade and Neil Purvis of the movie based on Ian Fleming’s 1953 novel are said to be penning a script.
It has been said that the screenplay is for an untitled movie, but some believed that it is for next 007 film titled “Bond 25.” Allegedly, its production will start next fall.
Matt LeBlanc films bond-like-scenes pulled off the perfect 007
Meanwhile, details of the next “James Bond” movie remain scarce. Also, it is not yet confirmed if Daniel Craig will leave or reprise his role as the 007 agent.
If ever the 49-year-old actor officially decides to quit; fans now have favorites that would replace him.
Other names at the bookies have James Norton, Michael Fassbender, and Aidan Turner. However, there is an unexpected emerging name that the movie franchise’s enthusiasts want to take the role. After filming some “Bond-related” scenes for “Top Gear,” Matt Leblanc has a great potential to play the iconic character.
“People say I look every inch the James Bond character while driving the Aston Martin in this series. I also had the tuxedo too,” he said (via Daily Express). “Would I ever play the role itself? It would be nice if they’d consider it, though.”
