Even though the official list for the new cast of "Dancing with the Stars" is not out yet, names are slowly being revealed. The latest name is Mr. T, whose real name is Laurence Tureaud. Officials of the popular ABC dance competition show have been trying for years to get the 64-year-old actor to be a contestant on the show. They believe he will be a great access in the upcoming season.

The public has not seen very much of Mr. T recently. He has been absent from television since 2014. He appeared last in the movie, "WrestleMania XXX."

Season 24

The new season of "Dancing With The Stars" premieres on March 20.

It was reported that the Democratic nominee for president Hillary Clinton and former First Lady Michelle Obama were invited to join the new season. However, both turned down the invitation.

Pros returning

Fans know more about which pros are returning than who their partners will be. For instance, Mark Ballas is returning. He was absent from Season 23 because he was performing in "Jersey Boys," and he got married during his season off. However, his friend, Derek Hough, is taking the next season off because of other commitments.

Fan favorites, Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are returning. The new parents will compete against each other. They have not appeared together on the same show in a few seasons.

Maks was on Season 23 with partner Amber Rose. They were eliminated in Week 6 while Maks' younger brother, Val and Laurie Hernandez went on to win the mirrorball trophy.

Peta was pregnant during last season, and gave birth to son Shai on January 4. She and Maks will be quite busy next season as they try to win the competition as well as taking care of their newborn and planning a three-day wedding in July.

Mr. T's partner?

Who do you think Mr. T 's partner will be? More than likely the producers will pair the retired professional wrestler with Cheryl Burke. No matter who will be Mr. T's partner, he might use his catchphrase, "I pity the fool." His character, boxer Clubber Lang, used the phrase often in the 1982 film, "Rocky III."
