Kailyn Lowry is officially pregnant. After a number of outlets began reporting on her baby news, the "Teen Mom 2" star took to social media and her blog, where she confirmed that she is, in fact, expecting her third child.
On February 23, just months after her divorce from Javi Marroquin was finalized, Lowry took to her blog to reveal her pregnancy. After sharing the post, Lowry blasted the blog on her Twitter page to her many curious fans who were completely shocked by the unexpected announcement.

"I am pregnant," Lowry wrote to her fans, revealing that she was sold out by people in her life before she was ready to share her news.
"I want it to be a happy time," she continued. According to Lowry, she wanted to keep her pregnancy to herself so that she could enjoy her baby news and not have to deal with paparazzi and the crazy headlines that have recently surfaced.
Kailyn Lowry hasn't revealed details regarding who the child belongs to, but she did tell fans that her decision to get pregnancy was a choice she made on her own. Although she acknowledged that many wouldn't agree with her decision, she claimed that those close to her have been showering her with support since she discovered the news.
Why did Kailyn Lowry hide her pregnancy for so many months?
In addition to not wanting to face any negative backlash, Lowry said that her decision to keep her baby news to herself was based on the health complications she experienced leading up to the pregnancy.
Because the pregnancy was considered "high risk," the reality star didn't want to deal with a possible announcement regarding a miscarriage if anything were to go wrong.
After claiming she didn't want kids on "Teen Mom 2," Lowry realized that she did want a chance to welcome more children. "I know this isn’t an ideal situation but I know everything will be okay," she concluded.
