The latest Ipad Pro 2 bandwagon update reports that the upcoming Apple tablets are set to take over WWDC 2017 this June. Completing the lineup is the second generation 12.9-inch version, the all-new 10.5-inch tier, and the newest iPad Pro Mini, alongside other Apple devices like the new iMac Keyboard, Mac Pro revamp, and the Apple Pencil 2.
Apple lineup updates
According to sources, Apple is planning to launch its tablet lineup during the upcoming Worldwide Developers Conference 2017 (WWDC 2017).
The hype has continued as speculation has been running rampant. It is worth noting, however, that the speculation has not been confirmed by Apple. Thus, taking this information lightly is advised. For example, the WWDC 2017 Apple exhibition has been rumored as the arena to debut many of these next generation devices, but we will only know for sure once the event comes to pass.
iPad Mini 5 update
Moving forward, it is also reported that the Cupertino-based tech company plans to reintroduce its mini tablets. The device will also be using a newer moniker instead of its usual numeric sequence. The 7.9-inch tier is reportedly under production and its release is now inevitable since its predecessors are now on rush-order in Apple stores and other select retailers.
There will be 2 second-gen Apple tablets
The iPad Pro 2 is expected to arrive in two different variants: the 10.5 inch and 12.9 inch versions. Both devices are reportedly packed with the same power and durability. These flagships will have a sleeker design to complement the new slim fit bezels. Nothing is lost in terms of capacity, since both will be sporting the A10X chipset. Prior to this update, it was previously reported that the CPU might not come in time, prior to the iPad Pro 2 release date. It seems that Apple has found a way to fix the glitch in the chip's hardware, however.
Expected retail prices
The iPad Mini Pro is expected to be sold at around $599, while its bigger sibling, the 12.9-inch, will be available for $699. Meanwhile, the 10.5-inch variant has not been priced yet.
