During an interview with Pro Wrestling Sheet’s Ryan Satin, wrestler-turned-actor Dave "Batista" Bautista revealed that "The Celtic Warrior" Sheamus is ready to make his return. He said “He’s ready to go, he wants it, he’s so hungry, he’s in great shape. They’re just not sure what they want to do with him creatively, so it’s a very frustrating place to be.”

The 6 ft 6 in Irishman weighing 272 lbs has been out of action since Wrestlemania 35 due to an injury. His last match was a fatal-four-way tag team match at Wrestlemania 35 where his tag team partner was Cesaro.

Their opponents were The Usos, Aleister Black & Ricochet, and Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura. There were several reports of Sheamus' injury after Wrestlemania but there was no clarity on how bad the injury was.

Batista reveals Jericho's comment about WWE

Pointing out WWE's fault in a recent interview with Wrestling Sheet Radio, Batista remembers the conversation he once had with Chris Jericho where Jericho told him that John Cena will turn out to be the last face of the company, as the superstars in WWE today have much less freedom than the early times.

Batista expressed his disappointment with the creative team of the company by mentioning his short run during 2014, where he was not happy with how he was booked and as a result, he left WWE.

Batista again pointed it out when he mentioned about the injury status of Sheamus where he said that the Irishman is ready to return but the creative team does not know how to book him.

Achievements of Sheamus

Stephen Farrelly aka Sheamus is an Irish professional wrestler and actor currently signed to the American professional wrestling promotion World Wrestling Entertainment.

He had a successful run in WWE as a singles wrestler capturing the world championships four times. During his early days in WWE, he battled legendary WWE wrestlers like Triple H, Randy Orton, John Cena, and Daniel Bryan. All those feuds proved to e good enough.

Sheamus has been a very consistent worker over the past years. Fans would love to see him in another singles run.

He is a triple crown champion, just one championship away from being a Grand Slam Champion. Sheamus has never been an Intercontinental Champion. If the company provides him an opportunity to capture a singles championship, that should be the Intercontinental Championship. He can work both as a face and as a heel. Apart from singles runs, fans have really enjoyed Sheamus and Cesaro as a tag team. They quickly became one of the best teams in the world.

Some of his major championship wins are WWE RAW Tag Team Championship (four times), WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship (once), World Heavyweight Championship (once), WWE Championship (three times), WWE United States Championship (twice), FCW Florida Heavyweight Championship (once).
