On Sunday, November 18, WWE fans will be glued to their screens watching the Survivor Series 2018 matches. New WWE Survivor Series 2018 rumors have popped up with regards to the pay-per-view. After Becky Lynch took a bad punch in the ring on Raw, she's off the match card. That sent WWE into quick damage control as they had to pull Becky Lynch from the match and replaced her with Charlotte Flair.

Of course, that meant that the SmackDown women's team still needs a new tag team partner for Sunday's elimination match.

Survivor Series women's 5-on-5 teams

It will be a Team Raw vs. Team SmackDown Live traditional Survivor Series elimination match for Sunday's pay-per-view. On one side is a team of women's superstars handpicked by Raw team captain Alexa Bliss. They are multiple-time champion Mickie James, former WWE Raw Women's Champion Nia Jax, Tamina Snuka, Natalya, and Ruby Riott. It's a pretty talented team and seems to be ready to go as they at least know who they've got.

On the opposing side so far are just four SmackDown women's superstars.

They're headed up by former WWE SmackDown Women's Champions Naomi and Carmella. Joining them are "The Empress of Tomorrow" Asuka and Sonya Deville. However, Charlotte Flair is no longer part of the team as she'll be doing battle with WWE Raw Champion Ronda Rousey in place of Becky. Flair is currently a huge underdog on the Survivor Series odds, but Becky wasn't expected to win either. That leaves Team SmackDown at just four members able to compete.

Potential SmackDown mystery team member

With Charlotte's spot now open, it has led to some guesses as to who will join Team SmackDown for the women. As the tweet above mentioned, that individual believes it will be Paige. However, there hasn't been any mention of her being cleared to return to the ring for a match.

That would be a major surprise if it were to happen.

However, there is one name that has popped up and makes sense. As Wrestling Rumors indicated in their report, current WWE NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler could make her main roster debut in this match. She's scheduled to compete in a best two-of-three falls match to defender her title versus Kairi Sane on Saturday at NXT Takeover: Wargames II. Still, she could end up working double-duty.

This would be a huge move, as it could also set things in motion for a long-rumored match. For months before Ronda Rousey even made her debut in the WWE, there were rumors there would be a Four Horsewomen of WWE versus Four Horsewomen of UFC match. This could be part of the setup, as Baszler could be the surviving member for Team SmackDown.

Possibly the rest of her UFC pals, minus Ronda Rousey, could assist, or play a part in the Survivor Series match.

Fans saw Baszler get assistance from her two UFC pals at ringside during the WWE Evolution pay-per-view. It's entirely possible they'll be present again on Sunday if these WWE Survivor Series 2018 rumors are true. Other potential mystery tag partners could be recently-called up Nikki Cross or Nikki Bella, so stay tuned.
