Undertaker has been spotted heading towards New York which is the same place where SummerSlam is set to take place. There are rumors all around that we may get to see the "Phenom" Undertaker this Sunday at SummerSlam. It is said to be the biggest party of the summer. This year's SummerSlam theme is given by Machine Gun Kelly and the song is "Go for broke". It is an event that is considered next to Wrestlemania and this year's SummerSlam is expected to be even bigger than ever before.
Recently in an interview, Jim Ross has claimed that Undertaker is ready for a return to the ring, as reported by Wrestlezone.
Then there is a photograph of Undertaker that has appeared in the social media and has gone viral which shows that he is heading towards New York city.
The Phenom against Brock at SummerSlam
Last time when Undertaker was seen in action at Summerslam, it was The Deadman against "The Beast Incarnate" Brock Lesnar. They both went head to head in a "Hell in a Cell" match. The match was absolutely awesome as they both competed in an intense match. That was the last match when Brock Lesnar and Undertaker came face to face. Now the question is - Is he coming back to cost Lesnar his match at SummerSlam? This point seems logical as the man who defeated him at Wrestlemania (Roman Reigns) is also involved in this match.
Reigns along with Samoa Joe and Braun Stroman is challenging Brock Lesnar for his Universal Championship.
It may not be surprising if Undertaker comes back and attacks Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar which may give chance to Braun Stroman or Samoa Joe to rise to the occasion.
This remains a mystery that whether Undertaker will be there at SummerSlam or not.
It is also quite unexpected that what will be the motive of him appearing when he has already given indications of his retirement as he lost his match to Roman Reigns who is now claiming the WWE ring to be his yard and not Undertaker's. This explains that Undertaker is calling it quits. But as we know that anything can happen in WWE, we can expect the Phenom to return and digging holes for other people's grave.
The Undertaker is a brand
The Undertaker arrived in WWE in 1990 and today it has been 27 years since he has served the organization achieving almost everything that a wrestler expects from his life. The Undertaker recently had a match with the "Big Dog" Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania 33. Reigns defeated the Undertaker after which the Undertaker left his attire in the ring giving an indication that it was his last Wrestlemania match in WWE.
