Kurt Angle started the show with introduction his newly found son "Jason Jordan" as the newest member of Monday Night Raw. He then addressed the number one contender match from the past Monday Night Raw as Braun Stroman interfered in the match between Samoa Joe and Roman Reigns. As he started, Braun Stroman entered the ring and asked for a match against Brock Lesnar. Samao Joe interrupted Braun Stroman who was then interrupted by Roman Reigns. All three of them approached Kurt for their match against Brock Lesnar.
The kickstart
As a result of continuous altercation amongst them, Kurt Angle announced a fatal four-way match for the universal championship at WWE Summerslam.
Followed by this, there was utter chaos all over the ring as they attacked each other. The fight grew so much that Kurt had to call the entire roster to control the situation.
Finn Balor had a chance to take revenge Elias Samson as he was attacked with a guitar at the hands of Samson the past week. Elias wins again but this time, as a result of an attack on Balor from Bray Wyatt. Enzo took on Big Cass but could not get it done as he lost the match. Once the match ended, Big Cass tried to attack Enzo leading to Big Show coming to the rescue, but Big Cass dominated the Big Show as well.
Number one contender's match
There was a number one contender match between Bayley and Sasha Banks where the winner would go on to face Alexa Bliss at Summerslam.
This was an incredibly evenly matched up to fight, but Bayley emerged victorious at the end. Bayley is going to Summerslam to face Alexa Bliss for WWE Raw Women's championship. After the match, Alexa came to the ring, and there was a confrontation between the two.
Jason Jordon defeated Curt Hawkins in singles competition as his successful debut.
His match was announced by his father Kurt Angle at the beginning of Raw.The Revival was in action against The Club where The Revival was victorious due to distraction by The Hardy Boys. After the match, The Hardy Boys took revenge from The Revival and attacked them. The Revival managed to escape the swanton bomb by Jeff Hardy.
A partial Shield reunion
Dean Ambrose partnered with Seth Rollins to take on The Miz and the team of Miztourage (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). Dean and Seth made a lot of combination moves and won the match at the end. But Ambrose is still not entirely convinced by Seth Rollins as his partner. It is still a question whether Dean Ambrose will ever believe Seth Rollins.
