NBA draft top 5 analysis
It seems like the first two picks of the NBA Draft is as expected, with the Sixers getting Fultz, forming a young and promising team with Embid, Simmons, and Fultz. The Lakers also took the obvious choice with Lonzo Ball after getting rejected by the Kings in the hopes of acquiring Paul George from Indiana; the Lakers now have Brook Lopez, Julius Randle, Jordan Clarkson, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo as their core (Nick Young decided to test free agency this year).
The third pick was a surprise; everyone thought that the Celtics wanted to get Josh Jackson to get a young forward/guard in their team, but they opted to get the solid forward with Jayson Tatum to match with IT and Al Horford. Phoenix Suns then came up with a hard choice between Fox and Jackson; they decided that Jackson was the right pick to go along with Devin Booker, this makes a really good scoring duo for the young Suns squad.
The fifth pick was a great pick up for the Kings, with Fox expected to go to either 3 or 4, Kings are happy yo pick him up in the fifth, Fox and Buddy will be a force to be reckoned with in the NBA.
With the NBA draft over, some questions have already been answered as to what directions teams are going into this upcoming NBA season, but the off-season has just begun, and for sure there are still moves to be made with Paul George, Deandre Jordan, LaMarcus Aldridge, and Kristaps Porzingis being shopped.
