"General Hospital" fans are once again hoping that fan favorite Tyler Christopher will reprise his role as the dark prince of Port Charles. A Nikolas Cassadine return would solve several current issues and delight the viewers who long to see him ruling Windermere once more. A tweet to former castmate Rebecca Budig is causing some fans to believe the actor may return to his old stomping ground and deal with Valentin which would also clear up some misconceptions.
Spencer, Laura, and Lulu could really use their perceived dead loved one's help right now, as could Ava Jerome who never got to explore a relationship with the man who saved her life.
Tyler Christopher's tweet may be misconstrued
Soap Dirt reveals a recent tweet by Tyler Christopher that some believe may be hinting his return to "General Hospital." The actor told former castmate Rebecca Budig to be careful about what she finds at Windemere. Budig's character Hayden Barnes will soon return to Port Charles for an arc-related t Anna and Dr. Finn. Even though Christopher said "what" some fans believe he may have been referring to himself.
This will be the third year in a row, that the annual Nurses Ball in May has been preceded by rumors of a return of the dark prince.
Tyler Christopher may well indeed have been referring to a "what" and not himself, but those who love the actor and his character so desperately want him back, that they may be misconstruing the real meaning of the tweet. Nikolas and Hayden had an interesting relationship on "General Hospital" but he supposedly died, and she moved on with Dr. Finn. A very pregnant Ms. Barnes later left Port Charles and now will return presumably with the child that Finn thought she had miscarried.
A Nikolas return will shake up 'GH' and Port Charles
Should the dark prince indeed return to Port Charles it will shake up those who presumed him to be deceased.
Ava could use her good friend right now because of how Ryan Chamberlain ruined her life and murdered her daughter. Spencer definitely needs his dad in his life and if Nikolas is alive it would heal the rifts Valentin has with Laura, Lulu, and Spencer. There would also be the issue of who truly owns Windemere, which would bring added drama to "General Hospital."
Fans of "The Young and the Restless' remained faithful through two and one-half years of rumors and erroneous spoiler alerts related to Adam Newman. They were rewarded when the character returned to the show this past week. Until Tyler Christopher confirms a return to "General Hospital" his loyal followers will no doubt continue to watch and wait, hoping their beloved character will one day come back home.
