Spoiler alerts from Soap Opera Spy are boldly sticking by a rumor regarding "The Young and the Restless." Allegedly Arturo and Mia are headed out of Genoa City with a bang. The actors who portray these characters, however, say it is not true. Last week when the new head writer, Josh Griffith flipped the script on their night together, viewers began wondering about the fate of this couple. Mal Young disregarded history and disrespected beloved characters on the CBS daytime drama, Now that he has been fired it seems that fans favorites are coming back.
Paul and Traci will be on screen Monday, Ashley will return by the end of the week and Kevin may possibly come back to town.
Rey deals with Arturo and Mia
Celeb Dirty Laundry says Arturo will tell Abby that he sept with his sister in law and eventually the news will get back to Rey. Detective Rosales has already walked away from Mia but this is the second time hsi brother betrayed him with his wife. Spoilers say he will become so angry that he punches his sibling which will no doubt lead to what happens next. Soap Opera Spy is reporting a rumor that Mia and Arturo are being written out of "The Young and the Restless." This may be why the new head writer is revealing that the duo slept together.

Initially, the storyline indicated that Arturo did not go to be with his brother's wife but now that has changed. CDL indicates that Mrs. Rosales is probably pregnant by her brother in law and that the two are going to leave Genoa City, no doubt in shame. Earlier spoilers revealed that Paul will fire Rey on Monday, which has led to speculation that he will be written out of the show as well.
Mal Young put the Rosales family front and center, at the expense of the Newmans, Abbott.s and other core families. This is why there is so much speculation as to what the new "Y&R" writing team will do with these characters.
Rey might marry Sharon
Soap Opera Spy says the rumor mill insists that detective Rosales will eventually marry Sharon.
Last week, it appeared that Nick and the mother of his children were getting closer and that she had doubts about Rey. If Billy gets back together with Victoria, and Kerry breaks Jack's heart, this may open a door for Phyllis and Jack to reunite which would leave Nick out in the cold.
If on the other hand, Rey leaves Genoa City after losing hsi job then there is the possibility that "Shick" may reunite. Sharon may appreciate detective Rosales coming to their rescue in the end, but may not be ready to forgive him just yet.
