Eileen Davidson's last episodes on "The Young and the Restless" are fast approaching, and spoiler indicates that speculation surrounding her exit are growing. Since Dina returned to Genoa City, everything has been turned upside down for the Abbott family, and nothing and history has been changed.
On Friday, Kyle found documents in a safe at Jabot that he will try to shred on Monday. Soaps She Knows suggests they give Ashley authority at the company and Soap Opera Spy teases they may reveal that John Abbott is her father after all. Whatever information comes forth, one thing is certain, and that is that after Monday, October 29 Dina's daughter will be long gone.
Dina has changed family history
Dina came back to Genoa City and life for her family has been in constant chaos ever since. First, her children were suspicious of Graham who was playing all kinds of tricks on them, and next they found out Ms Mergeron had Alzheimer's disease. Dina stabbed Nikki and set fire to Nick's club. Next was the revelation of her many affairs while married to John, which Ashley used against Jack to make him think John was not his father.
Now spoilers indicate that the documents Dina hid in the Jabot safe are going to bring even more changes for the Abbotts. There is a reason Kyle will attempt to destroy the information and given recent events it must be something that favors his aunt.
Kyle is angry at the way Ashley treated him as well as the fact that she lied about Jack's biological father. If John left Jabot to his daughter, or there is proof that he is her biological dad, Kyle certainly would want to keep that a secret. Whatever it is will likely change the dynamic of the Abbott family history one more time.
Ashley has a reason for leaving Genoa City
"Y&R" spoilers have kept the details of Ashley's departure under wraps which is why there has been so much speculation. It does not seem likely that she will have an epiphany, apologize to her family and decide to leave town for the good of the Abbott's as well as Jabot, but it could happen.
Dina's declining condition would be another reason her daughter should want to stick around Genoa City, but the last scenes have already been filmed.
The only thing that is certain is that Ashley will exit Genoa City and there will be a good reason she is doing so. She may leave town after making amends to her family and give up the company she fought so hard for, or she might walk away in shame.
