"General Hospital" spoilers are once again insinuating that Laura's son, Nikolas, will rise from the dead. It had been reported, on several occasions, that Tyler Christopher would not return and a recast had been made. For over two years, rumors have surfaced that this beloved character had once again faked his own death. Now, Celeb Dirty Laundry is reporting that not only will the popular character be resurrected, but that Christopher will indeed take back the role he originated. Readers know to take these stories with a grain of salt, but fans will be waiting with baited breath, one more time, to see if the Cassadine Prince indeed reemerges.
The facts in Port Charles as fans know them
Loyal viewers know that Valentin shot Nikolas, who was trying to save Ava, and he fell out of a window. He has not been seen in Port Charles since then but continues to be mentioned. Each time Laura accuses Valentin of murdering her son, he sidesteps the question. On a few occasions, he even suggested that the Cassadine Prince may have faked his death for the second time. CDL suggests that Tyler Christopher may choose to have a recurring role on both "General Hospital" and "Days of Our Lives," as does Wally Kurth, who portrays Justin on "DOOL" and Ned on "GH."
CDL reports that Tyler Christopher has been silent on social media, which only fuels speculation that he will return to his old stomping grounds.
Longtime fans, however, understand that they cannot read too much into all of this speculation. It could be fake news, as were the many reports that Adam Newman would return to "The Young and the Restless." Valentin being vague, Laura's return, and a finger wearing a Cassadine ring is not proof that Nikolas will return. While "GH" fans can certainly keep their expectations high, it's best to consider it could all be fake news.
The Nikolas saga in Port Charles needs closure
"GH" spoilers covering the next two weeks do not list anything significant taking place in Port Charles with the Cassadines. Viewers do know, that Laura has her hands full with Kevin, who is really the evil twin Ryan, and helping LuLu deal with Dante's absence. Valentin is busy with helping Nina reach out to her daughter, and nothing more has been said regarding Cassandra Pierce and the hand with the Cassadine ring on he finger.
Loyal viewers would love to see Tyler Christopher reprise his role, and deserve better than a lot of misguided information. The powers that be need to show respect, and produce Nikolas, or put an end to the rumors once and for all. Be on the lookout for updated spoilers related to the Cassadine Prince and keep watching "General Hospital" weekday afternoons on ABC at 2:00 PM ET.
