Spoiler alerts for "The Young and the Restless" tease that this week Jack and Victor will get the answers they ate seeking. On Friday the Newman patriarch agreed to submit a DNA sample after being influenced by his brother Matt. Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that this week Nate will ask the bitter enemies if they are ready for the results and that later Victor will tell Jack that nothing has changed between them.
This would seem to imply that the genetic testing has proved beyond the shadow of a doubt that Albert Miller is the biological father of both men. If true, Genoa City will never be the same and the rift between the two men may become greater.
Victor makes peace with Matt
Last week, on "Y&R" the Newman patriarch accused his half-brother Matt of conspiring with Jack behind his back. By Friday, however, the two men had come to an agreement and acknowledged that they all needed to know the truth regarding Albert Miller. Matt convinced his half-sibling that he could truly leave their dad in the past by agreeing to find out if Jack is also a brother.
Soap Dirt spoilers say that as everyone is waiting for the test results that Victor and Matt will make peace with each other.
Soap Dirt also emphasizes the fact that fans are upset with "Y&R" fright now for rewriting history. The spoiler says perhaps this is the week the storyline of Jack and Victor being siblings will be laid to rest. Celeb Dirty Laundry teases that perhaps Matt tampered with the DNA testing and Jack may still not have the answers he is looking for. Viewers are already calling for a boycott and for head writer Mal Yong to be fired so Jack does not get resolutions soon things could become pretty ugly.
Jack finds closure and Victor takes a break
Eric Braeden who portrays Victor has recently taken a break from "The Young and the Restless" He announced on Twitter that he is on a month-long vacation to visit family in Germany.
It's possible the timing may coincide with what is taking place in Genoa City. When Nate reveals that the DNA test concludes Jack and Victor are siblings, it may be more than the Newman patriarch can bear.
Victor may leave Genoa City to reflect upon how Albert Miller has altered his life and that his sworn enemy is now his blood brother. When, as CDL reports, Victor tells his nemesis that nothing has changed between them it is probably because the facts prove they are siblings. The Newman patriarch will need to take a break to reflect upon it all and Jack will finally have closure. Be on the lookout for updated spoilers and keep watching "The Young and the Restless" weekday afternoons at 12:30 PM EST on CBS.
