Bethenny Frankel’s co-star, Carole Radziwill, announced her exit from “The Real Housewives of New York City” last week but according to a recent post shared by Frankel on Twitter, Radziwill may not have chosen to walk away from the show. Instead, Frankel has suggested Radziwill was actually fired.

“Bravo has reasons for not asking [‘Real Housewives’] to return,” Frankel tweeted on Wednesday, August 1. “It’s based on research and focus groups and YOU. Aside from three years I left, no ‘RHONY’ cast member has ever quit,” she added.

Bethenny Frankel then seemed to take aim at Carole Radziwill directly, telling her fans and followers, “One saying they chose to depart and attributing it to me is fiction.” Although Radziwill didn’t name Frankel in her exit statement to People magazine last week, she said she was looking forward to leaving her “frenemies” behind and Frankel is the only cast member she had major issues with during “The Real Housewives of New York City” season 10.

“It’s healthier to be truthful about a hard situation,” Frankel noted.

Is Bethenny Frankel being honest?

After Frankel shared her tweet, one fan noted that Andy Cohen had confirmed that Carole Radziwill had chosen to walk away from her full-time role on the show and another pointed out that Radziwill once said that nothing Frankel says about her is true. Another commenter slammed Frankel as "shady" for revealing what she did. "Hmm. It's kinda shady to point this out," the woman wrote. "Let your friend (and if you've ever been close, yes, she's your friend) move away with dignity."

Carole Radziwill starred on 'RHONY' for six seasons

“After six seasons on Bravo’s ['The Real Housewives of New York City;], I have decided to return to what I do best — journalism and producing,” the former reality star said in a statement to People magazine last Wednesday.

Radziwill went on to say that she's worked with producers who are amazing and made great friends throughout her journey on the show. That said, she revealed she was "thrilled" to be leaving certain people behind.

Radziwill was brought to the show during season five along with Heather Thomson and Aviva Drescher, both of whom have already moved on from the show.
