Jessa and Ben Duggar are still living in their home, but it sounds like they have now decided to sell the land that surrounds it. In Touch Weekly shared the details about how they are doing this for a huge profit. The really strange part is they didn't pay for this land really, but instead they paid Grandma Duggar $1 for it. If they sell it, then they are going to be making really good money off this land.
Price and info on this property
Back in June of 2017, they bought this land from Grandma Duggar and only paid $1 for it. Now they have the real estate listed and they are asking $200,376 for the .46 acres of land.
This really isn't the kind of land that you would want to build a home on, but it seems like it would more than likely be for a business. That means that Jessa and Ben Seewald could have a new business right out their backdoor. Maybe they are planning to move at some point, but for now, it doesn't seem that way since they aren't selling the house as well.
This property is really close to 1-49 North Interstate in Washington County, AR. The description on Zillow reads, "Perfect for a new business to catch traffic from all directions! With approx. 200' of I49 Frontage, you will be seen!" Some fans have expressed concern in the past that Jessa Duggar Seewald has her young children outside playing so close to this big highway.
There was actually a multi-car fatality accident right by here not long ago. The only thing between their house and the highway is a few trees. You can see this in pictures that Jessa posts of the boys playing outside.
How are Ben and Jessa Seewald doing now?
Ben and Jessa Seewald have two children together and seem to be doing great.
They have talked in the past about how they really want to adopt at some point. Adopting can be really expensive so you have to wonder if that is part of why they are trying to sell the land near their home. If that is the reason, Grandma Duggar might just approve. This is all speculation though.
This couple will be back on "Counting On" when the show returns with new episodes in July.
Maybe they will talk about selling their property, but the Duggar Family is usually pretty quiet about their businesses and financial issues. The only way they might talk about it is if there is a reason that has to do with another storyline.
Maybe Grandma Duggar is okay with this decision, but nobody seems to know. Don't miss new episodes of "Counting On" when it returns to TLC this summer with new episodes.
