Its been one month since John Cena and Nikki Bella called off their wedding. Since their split, rumors have swirled about the status of their relationship. Reports say that the split is real, while others have suggested it’s a publicity stunt for their show. But a new rumor has emerged that says Cena has already moved on with another woman, and it’s WWE star Carmella.
Cena's past
By now, fans all know about Cena’s love life. In July 2009, he married his high school sweetheart, Elizabeth Huberdeau, however, less than three years later the couple divorced.
Not too long after his divorce was final, Cena began dating WWE Diva Nikki Bella. The couple made their relationship public when they starred on the reality show "Total Divas," then the spinoff "Total Bellas."
On the show, marriage was a hot topic often brought up in discussion between Nikki and John. He made it clear that he had no interest in marrying again or having children, something that was a dream of Nikki’s. It looked like Nikki was never going to get her dream of being a wife or mother, yet slowly Cena changed his mind and proposed to her at "Wrestlemania 33."
Carmella's love life
As everyone knows, Carmella was in a relationship with Big Cass. The two met when they were in "NXT" and she served as valet for Cass and his tag partner Enzo Amore.
When it came time for them to make their main roster debuts, they were moved to different brands. Big Cass went to "RAW," while Carmella debuted on "SmackDown."
Even though being on different rosters was tough, the couple’s relationship remained strong. Carmella was there for Cass when he suffered a knee injury. They even celebrated two big milestones when they bought their first home and joined the cast of "Total Divas." However, by January 2018 the couple had ended their relationship after three years together.
The rumors
Rumors of John Cena and Carmella dating began on Monday when a Wrestling dirtsheet posted that they were dating. However, the rumors were quickly put to rest when it was revealed that the site got their information from a Hollywood gossip blog. Yet, that hasn’t stopped fans from speculating on whether there’s any truth to the rumors.
Many fans believe the dating rumors are true given that Carmella won the Smackdown Women’s Championship. Theories have run rampant that Cena is behind Carmella’s recent push and that she’ll get the same benefits that Nikki Bella received when she dated Cena. While fans continue to speculate on the rumors, Cena and Carmella are staying mum on the situation, even though people are hounding them on social media. No matter who Cena is dating, with him being a big star, his personal life is going to draw a lot of attention.
