Chelsea Houska's dad pokes fun at her lack of 'Teen Mom 2' airtime on Twitter

Chelsea Houska's father, Randy Houska, has taken note of how much time his daughter has been featured on each episode of "Teen Mom 2" and according to a new tweet, he's not too happy with MTV. Just days after Houska took to her own Twitter page and pointed out that the reality series isn't even about moms anymore, Randy joked about the minimal screen time she receives.

"Holy smokes!!!!

[Chelsea Houska] was on ['Teen Mom 2'] tonight! For more than 30 seconds, it's a start," Randy tweeted. "I think this [MTV 'Teen Mom 2'] thing is going to catch on."

'Teen Mom 2' is focused on the drama, not the families

According to a May 29 report from Us Weekly magazine, the majority of last night's episode of "Teen Mom 2" was based around the ongoing drama in Kailyn Lowry's love life. As fans of the show well know, Lowry began dating a woman at the end of last year, around the time when season eight was filming and at the same time, her former husband, Javi Marroquin, began dating their co-star, Briana DeJesus.

Although Chelsea Houska was seen briefly during Monday's episode (May 28), her part of the show wasn't based on her life at home with husband Cole DeBoer. Instead, her scenes featured her drama with Adam Lind, who has been dealing with a number of legal issues and drug allegations for years.

As fans may have seen, a fan tweeted to Houska earlier this month, demanding to see more of the pregnant reality star on the show. In response, Houska told the fan that she is "barely" in the next episode" and noted that the reality series "isn’t actually even about being a mom anymore."

After marrying husband Cole DeBoer in October 2016 and welcoming her first child with him in January 2017, Houska took to Instagram in March of this year to reveal that she is expecting another child.

On March 15, Houska shared a sonogram photo and in the caption of the image, she told her fans and followers that she and DeBoer were thrilled to be expecting a baby girl in a "few short months." Since then, the longtime reality star has been sharing plenty of photos of her baby bump with her fans and followers.
