"Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Rinna must be terrified for her daughter Amelia Gray Hamlin who recently revealed she is struggling with a dangerous health condition. Rinna's daughter has admitted that she is suffering from anorexia. Amelia hopes by talking about her struggles personally she will be able to offer some help to others dealing with the same type of eating disorder.

'RHOBH' star helps daughter cope

According to Radar Online reports, Hamlin claims that after getting help with her anorexia issues she finally "began to love" herself again.

The 16-year-old model and daughter of celebrities Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin claims that just this time last year she was in a dark place, not only with her physical health but her mental health as well.

She also claims the more people would comment on her appearance; the worse things became for her in her everyday life. Amelia's health issues are a little more extent than just anorexia; she also has a thyroid condition known as Hashimoto’s disease. “I have a lot of health complications after starving myself for so long, so it’s going to be a journey that I go through for a large part of my life.”

Amelia Hamlin reveals that after coming to terms with her health issues, she believes she can offer advice to other young women struggling with similar problems adding that it makes her feel as though she 'serves a purpose." Lisa Rinna totally gets what her daughter is going through in many ways revealing that she has also dealt with accusations of eating disorders – sometimes from some of her own friends and castmates.

“Eating disorders are very, very serious,” she continued. “It’s not something that should be taken lightly. I would urge them to get help.”Rinna appears to be the picture of health these days and has no qualms these days, even at 54-years-old of showing off her bikini-ready body at any given time.

She claims she has worked very hard to stay in shape, and eating right and exercising and a positive frame of mind even though some days a tough battle, has everything to do with it.
