Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi may be absent when her co-stars reunite for the second season of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." During a new interview, the longtime reality star and mother of two said that because of her role as a mother, she may bow out of production in a couple of weeks when the rest of the cast begins filming the second season of their rebooted reality show.

“Season two I would love to be home with my children. I don’t want to be away from them again. That was the worst mom guilt I’ve had in my entire life," Polizzi said while chatting on the red carpet with E!

News. Then, when asked if she would consider returning to the show, Polizzi made it clear that MTV would have to change the format before she'd be willing to come back. She then explained that she and her co-stars are supposed to be embarking on a "Real Housewives"-style format which would require them to film just three days each week and wouldn't sequester them in a house for a month without their families.

If there isn't a new format, there will be no Polizzi. As she explained, “Being a [mom] comes first.” Polizzi and her husband Jionni LaValle share two children, including five-year-old Lorenzo Dominic and three-year-old Giovanna Marie.

“I have no idea," Jenni "JWoww" Farley said when asked about the upcoming season. "We’re already green-lit for season two and I’m pretty sure we’re starting in a couple of weeks. [We] know nothing and they probably don’t tell us anything because we’d be on this carpet right now telling everybody where we are going.”

“Season two I’d love to go to Vegas," Paul "DJ Paul D" Delvecchio suggested.

"I’d love to take them where I live. It would be cool… Come to my house, go to where I’m deejaying or something. It would be dope.”

As for Deena Nicole Cortese, she'd like to return to New Jersey, or venture to an island. “I’m down to go back to Jersey. That’s my heart and soul. I’ve lived there all my life… but I’m down for whatever.

[Vegas] could be fun. I’d also like an island vacation. I need a legit vacation so that would be also nice. Let’s drink on the beach, you know?

Vinny Guadagnino is ready for 'some new stuff' on 'Jersey Shore'

“I love the whole party scene. I love Vegas. I love Los Angeles," Guadagnino said. "I love those places but at the same time, I love Jersey. That’s our home. So maybe we can mix it up. I don’t know… I think we are due for some new stuff to happen.”
