Is Amber Portwood leaving her nine-year-old daughter and heading to Los Angeles to support her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, as he continues his behind-the-scenes career in Hollywood, California? During the "Teen Mom OG" finale episode on Monday night, Glennon was seen getting a job offer on the west coast and right away, fans wondered if the longtime reality star would be leaving her child once again.

“No, you know, I can’t leave Leah, I couldn’t,” Portwood said during a follow-up interview with Us Weekly magazine on April 9. “I just couldn’t move away from her," she continued.

"I’m gonna stay here in Indianapolis.” After meeting Glennon while filming "Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars Family Edition" with ex-fiance Matt Baier, Portwood spent several weeks away from her daughter, in addition to the time she spent in production, as she and Glennon got to know one another. Then, months later, after learning Portwood was pregnant, the couple relocated back to Portwood's hometown in Indiana.

Amber Portwood is closing on a new home

In addition to Amber Portwood's decision to remain in Indiana, despite her boyfriend's impending move to Los Angeles, the "Teen Mom OG" star told Us Weekly that she will soon be closing on a new home in a "beautiful area" of town. As she explained, she and Glennon are planning to raise their baby boy in Indianapolis.

Meanwhile, she's accepted the fact that Glennon will be frequently be traveling back and forth to the west coast as his career continues.

“You just have to learn how to be apart from each other, which is obviously hard for me, cause I love being right next to [Andrew Glennon] and he’s the same way,” Portwood explained. That said, Portwood noted that she and their baby boy, who they've already named James, will be traveling with Glennon to California at times.

Amber Portwood believes Andrew will be a great father

While Glennon already has plans to spend time away from his family, Portwood has no doubts about his parenting abilities. In fact, she is quite confident that he will be an amazing father to their child. “I know he’s gonna show little James all the things that he grew up around," she noted, citing her boyfriend's childhood in the beach town of Malibu.
