Jenelle Evans is controversial at best. 2018 has been a rough year for the “Teen Mom 2” star and her family. Not only has Evans come under fire for comments she has made and things she has done, but her husband, David Eason, was fired from the show. His relationship with MTV ended after he went on a homophobic and transphobic tirade on Twitter back in February.

Still filming

Just a few days ago, Jenelle Evans confirmed she was still filming “Teen Mom 2.” This has been a mystery since the show halted production shortly after David Eason's rant. It was never announced whether or not she would be returning, but her husband was cut with six weeks of filming left.

Evans was under contract, and since two of her three children could still be filmed, it looks like she decided to at least finish out her obligations. A lawsuit is not something Jenelle needs, especially with her long history of legal issues.

While Jenelle Evans has come a long way from where she was, things aren't getting better for the reality star. According to In Touch Weekly, Jenelle Evans posted an offensive meme of Parkland student, Emma Gonzalez. The photo has since been removed, but the public outcry it sparked could lead to more trouble for Evans. She has already done some questionable things, and “Teen Mom 2” has kept her around. Since David Eason was fired for his rants, which stemmed from the Parkland shooting debates, this was not a smart move on her behalf.

Evans is famous for the tweet and delete, but this photo reportedly came from her Facebook fan page.

Future unclear

MTV has not issued a statement on the latest upset with Jenelle Evans quite yet. Filming for “Teen Mom 2” should be wrapping up as the new season is about to begin airing. There will be a reunion show taped toward the end of the season, but that should be all Evans is legally obligated to do at this point.

Whether or not she will return for another season is up in the air. She has made enemies out of all of her co-stars except Briana DeJesus. Jenelle is working on a YouTube series as well. With everything in her life being so uncertain, posting anything controversial should definitely be avoided. Jenelle just hasn't learned when to stop.

There are plenty of people looking for a reason to get Jenelle Evans in trouble, and she continues to give them what they need to complain. If she hasn't already, she needs to find someone to handle her social media and protect her best interests.
