Jill Duggar Dillard took to Instagram to post a photo of a very happy looking little baby Samuel. Haters slammed his parents in response.
The photo was captioned, "He’s happy to be 8 months old! #happybaby #samuelscottdillard." In the photo, Samuel Dillard looks totally happy and is a really cute little boy.
Fans of the couple exclaimed about his cuteness and Jill Dillard was praised for having the best of the Duggar Family babies.
Jill Duggar gets haters over the baby photo
There are always haters, but that Samuel, the young eight-month-old son of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard should be targeted is really taking it a bit far.
Lucky for Jill that there were lots of kind words said, to take away the horrible stuff. User anna.bella45 posted, "He’s so cute, that 8 months happened fast."
Another Instagram user, ginabobeenalv, said of baby Samuel Dillard, "Sammy is my favorite of the Duggar family tree."
There were a lot more comments from people who care and don't think it's right to be nasty about a baby. "Cutie Patootie!!," posted jscales915.
Instagram haters said horrid things about the parents
At least two people thought that Instagram was the place to hit at Jill and Derick when they saw the picture of Samuel.
"Too bad he’s going to grow up like his dad and discriminate against people who are not like him. Anti-LGBGT is anti human," wrote user bubbeheidi.
Another user posted in the comments, "Just because your parents are homophobic and transphobic isn't a reason to ridicule you. Little Sammy is absolutely adorable." This was a kind of a back-handed compliment in a way. Nice on one side and nasty on the other.
'Counting On' fans snap back
Fans of the Duggar Family and "Counting On" were quick to point out that Samuel at eight months and looking cute was not the place to say these sort of things.
"Why post anything at all if you have nothing nice to say. Don’t follow them if you feel that way. At any age all God’s children are precious!" This retort came after one user posted they don't care what age the baby is.
One follower, travelingafar wrote, "You are posting tons of photos on here these days. You must have more time now that you're not on the show anymore." That may have been a dig, but it may have also just been someone noticing that indeed, Jill and Derick Dillard are posting a lot and they are sharing their lovely family with 'Counting On' fans.
Fans of Jill Duggar and Derick Dillard were alarmed recently to hear that baby Samuel did spend time in the NICU after he was born, so it's wonderful to see baby Samuel looking so bright-eyed and cute.
