"Game of Thrones" is set to return with its eight and final season some time in 2019. And we can only speculate about what's to come as everyone involved with the series have been extremely careful not to give away any spoilers. But as always, they can't avoid leaks from the set, especially if the scenes are filmed in broad daylight.

"The Watchers on the Wall" has previously reported about some scenes that are supposedly taking place in Winterfell's Crypts with at least two major characters being involved. We have discussed what this could mean in one of the previous articles, with the particular emphasis on the horn that was allegedly blown at the end of that scene.

Now let's delve into the recent spoilers from the filming sets.

Jon Snow in King's Landing

Now, we have yet another major update regarding "Game of Thrones" Season 8 as Kit Harington was seen taking a break from filming in Dubrovnik, Croatia. The city has been previously used to shoot the scenes in the Westerosi capital of King's Landing. However, the leaked photos, originally taken by a Croatian site 24 sata, show Harington at Minceta Tower, a location they didn't use before.

Here, you can see the actor in Jon Snow's winter clothes. This comes as no surprise given the fact that it was snowing in King's Landing in one of the last scenes of Season 7. But only time will tell whether it is going to become even colder when the Army of the Dead comes.

After all, the cold winds are rising in Westeros and King's Landing should be no exception.

And the curls are back. Jon Snow's man bun experiment is officially over.

Here, you can see Kit Harington talking with one of the show's executive producers D.B.

Weiss. To recall, the two showrunners are set to direct episode 6. So does this mean that these are the scenes from the final episode?. Perhaps, we'll see Jon Snow on the Iron Throne after all. But let's not get ahead of ourselves, because this is "Game of Thrones" we are talking about. Nothing is that simple. Our guess is that he will become the King but at the terrible cost.

Two mysterious figures in the background

Jon Snow sitting on the Iron Throne at the end is not the only potential spoiler as two mysterious figures have also been spotted on the set. The first photo shows someone who can only be Daenerys Targaryen. So does this mean that the Mother of Dragons will survive until the very end? Maybe. But we must take into account that every episode of the season will probably be 90 minutes long, so there will be plenty of time for her to die.

Last but not least

Who might this person be?

Sure, it could be some Northman, a member of the Night's Watch, or someone from Golden Company. But it would be far more interesting if this person is actually Howland Reed, Meera's father, who saved Ned Stark's life at the Tower of Joy. He is definitely one of the most important characters yet to appear in both the TV show and the "A Song of Ice and Fire" books.

He can reveal what really happened at the Tower of Joy and confirm Bran's story about Jon being the legitimate heir to the Iron Throne. The man from this photo certainly looks the part, but only time will tell if he is actually the mysterious Howland Reed.
