Spoiler alerts for "The Young and the Restless" indicate that Devon has a big secret that will soon be revealed. It's possible that it could be one that will change his and Hilary's lives. The mystery may be surrounding their strong feelings for each other and cause the two to reunite down the road. It is remotely possible that what Mr. Hamilton is hiding might just be related to the sperm donor his ex-wife chose to father her child. "Y&R" viewers could soon see a repeat of the situation that unfolded between the characters Kyle Barker and Maxine Shaw on the sitcom "Living Single." If this scenario plays out, then those looking for Devon And Hilary to remarry may just get their wish.

'The Young and the Restless' deconstructed

Spoilers do not indicate what the secret is that Devon is hiding, but deconstructing recent events may give fans a clue. The new "Y&R" head writer Mal Young likes to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. He has kept his word by giving Mr. Hamilton front burner storylines. Loyal fans should keep an open mind where spoiler alerts are concerned, but pay close attention to the characters. Hilary and her ex-are now in a business partnership but it seems as if romantically they are through. He is busy with business ventures and she is obsessed with getting pregnant by way of a sperm donor.

The fact that these two remain in each other's orbit is very telling.

Viewers are expecting them to fall back into each other's arms, and into bed, and make a baby the old-fashioned way. There is, however, another method that would give Devon and Hilary the life they desire, and this is where "Living Single" comes into play.

On that sitcom, Max and Kyle had an on again off again romance and while he was out of the country, she decided to become impregnated via a sperm donor. At the end of the series, it was discovered that Kyle had donated to the sperm bank and he ended up being the father of Max's child. They reunited and planned to marry on the final episode.

This is a possibility that fans may not have considered for the genoa city couple.

Devon and Hilary may reunite or remain friends

Celeb Dirty Laundry indicates that Devon will discover a secret at will make waves and suggest it may have to do with Tessa. It could also be that he finds out the sperm bank that Hilary used is one where he himself donated. Over the course of time, if Ms.Curtis does find out she is expecting a baby, it may eventually be revealed that her former spouse is the father.

This scenario is a stretch but because "Living Single" had their characters, Max and Kyle, to play out this storyline, it's not impossible that "The Young and the Restless" may use the same type of set up for Devon and Hilary.
