Heather Locklear's boyfriend Chris Heisser was arrested just hours after Heather's bust for Domestic Violence. Heisser was arrested Monday Morning at around 12:45 A.M. for DUI. Reports from TMZ state that the highway patrol stopped Heisser after he was driving on the 101 freeway at a very slow speed. He was given the field sobriety test and a breathalyzer.

Is Chris Heisser bad for Heather?

Reports from the celebrity news site reveal that Heisser blew a .19 and a .20. He was cited and released a few hours later. This is just the next chapter on the list of bizarre events that took place in Thousand Oaks, California on Sunday night.

As previously reported, Heisser's girlfriend (actress Heather Locklear) was arrested hours before after a 911 call was placed by Heather Locklear's brother concerning a domestic violence incident.

Rehab, jail, what will save Heather from herself?

During Locklear's arrest, she became very combative, resisted arrest, and was charged not only with domestic violence but also with three counts of battery against police officers. Coincidentally enough, Chris Heisser is also the boyfriend that talked the troubled "Dynasty" actress back into rehab in December of 2017 for her sixth attempt at kicking her addiction to pills and booze.

Chris and Heather go way back and were reportedly high school sweethearts who reconnected decades later.

In December, Chris publicly revealed that Heather was in crisis. He stated that he and Locklear's family were extremely concerned for Heather's well-being concerning her drug and alcohol abuse, and that they felt it crucial that she return to rehab.

It was also rumored that Heather had been in a two-week program in November, though unconfirmed, Locklear did agree to return to a facility just outside of Los Angeles before the holidays, revealing that she was hoping to get herself together and kick off the upcoming New Year on a more positive note.

It is not known just how long Heather stayed during her previous rehab stint, but, it would not surprise family or fans to see the seventh attempt at sobriety announced in the upcoming days. It is a sad situation for Locklear, who has been battling addiction, and legal issues for more than a decade. Heather was also in rehab in January of 2017 after suffering a major breakdown brought on by excessive alcohol use combined with benzodiazepines (Xanax, Valium, etc.).

There seems to be more to the circumstances surrounding all the details of Heather Locklear's current domestic violence arrest than meets the eye at this time. Heather Locklear was released by Monday morning, according to county inmate records, after posting $20,000 bail. Stay tuned, as details concerning Heather Locklear and Chris Heisser's arrests appear to still be developing.
