Jessa Duggar Seewald is dealing with getting mommy shamed for something that her child did. In Touch Weekly shared the news about how Spurgeon threw a phone in the toilet and now she is getting a Hard Time for it. She shared what was meant to be a cute story about Spurgeon, 2, and Henry, 11 months, but because of it she is getting a hard time.
What happened with Jessa's children?
Jessa told her followers all about how she had to go and buy her husband Ben Seewald a new phone because her son, who is just two, decided to throw it in the toilet. This has happened to so many people, but since it happened to Jessa she is getting a really hard time about it.
Jessa shared that he was trying to see if it would sink or swim, obviously, it didn't swim.
After that, she said "It did not swim. “Mommy, fix it!” “Umm...did you spill water?” Ben: There’s water on the rim of the toilet. Screen was black. Phone was boiling hot and completely fried. Ha! Parents can attest, sometimes you gotta laugh so you don’t cry. Can’t stay mad for more than a sec tho... he’s such a cute little stinker! "
Why are the fans so upset?
One follower explained how a child can drown in the toilet in just ten seconds. This person said that they know this from personal experience and that Jessa should not be allowing her children to be alone in the bathroom without her. This fan was very upset about the fact that Jessa wasn't watching her kids in the bathroom.
Other fans were not really giving her a hard time but mentioned how this could happen easily. One said that their child actually threw a phone in the toilet while they were in the room. It can happen easily while someone else is in the room or if the child is left alone. It turns out that because of what happened Ben Seewald had to get a new phone.This was not the plan of course, but it had to be done.
Of course, Jessa Seewald isn't replying at all to what the followers have to say to her. She is known for ignoring them and going on. That is probably the best way to handle it. It just isn't a good idea to get into an argument with followers on social networks.
