'RHONJ' Siggy Flicker reveals 'false narratives' and 'hostile work environment'

Siggy Flicker announced at the end of 2017 that she was leaving "The Real Housewives Of New Jersey" after two seasons. Season 8 was a rough one for the Jewish mother-of-two, as she was thrown into the dramatic mix with newcomer, Margaret Josephs.

Flicker wrote a statement on her Bravo blog saying that she was "grateful for the network" to have brought her into the "successful franchise" but that it is more important for her to focus on her family and business at this time.

Siggy joined the cast of the Bravo reality series in Season 7 and managed to steer clear of any fights but, this season, she was not so lucky. The drama reached a climax when the group was in Milan and Flicker accused Josephs of being "anti-Semitic."

The reality star told Radar Online that she had "never been so happy" about her decision to quit the show. She claimed that "everybody was stacked" against her and that she just could not deal with the drama anymore.

Leaving on bad terms with production

Instead of leaving on good terms with the production company, Siggy's resignation letter reportedly included the fact that Bravo and Sirens Production strategically encouraged and created fights between the women.

She also alleged that she was subject to a "hostile work environment" and that appearing on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" "took a significant toll on her health" and also caused her a lot of unnecessary stress.

Flicker's allegations also included that Sirens Productions distorted the truth and created "false narratives," which she said have "no place in reality TV." She alleged that production was instituting "manipulation tactics" just to get higher ratings.

The resignation letter finished by reiterating the amount of "grief" that this past season has brought for Siggy, according to I-Click TV. She also claimed that her co-star Margaret had let it slip that Sirens Production told her to intentionally target Flicker.

She said that she still has a lot of love for her castmates like Teresa, Melissa, and Dolores because they are "real friends."

Quitting reality television has made her feel like she has "lost the battle" but "won the war." Despite the fact that she referred to herself as "TV gold," it looks like Siggy Flicker was not cut out for "The Real Housewives," but she says she does not regret the time she has spent on camera.

It will be interesting to see how the women act with each other during the Season 8 reunion episode, set to air tonight, January 17, at 9:00 p.m. EST on Bravo.
