Siggy Flicker is back on "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" this season and she's busier than ever. She has revealed that her desire to work is interfering with her relationship, which is odd considering she is a relationship counselor and speaks about how to have great relationships. Based on the first episode of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," it sounds like Siggy is also having some friendship issues. During the first episode of the season, Flicker wanted to do something nice for Melissa Gorga as she celebrated a birthday. However, she never expected Melissa and Teresa to throw the cake she had bought around.
According to a new report, Siggy Flicker is now speaking out about the incident, revealing she feels angry that Melissa would throw such a beautiful cake. Apparently, Siggy had gone above and beyond to get the cake made and she was saddened that Gorga didn't appreciate the gesture. While Gorga thought it was hilarious, it sounds like Siggy may be questioning her entire relationship with her co-star.
The infamous cake incident
In her Bravo blog, Siggy Flicker explains that she was proud to have recruited Jordi Panisello to create the cake. He was working at the Boca Hotel and Resort, where the ladies were staying. She explains that he went above and beyond for the cake, and even did a section matching the wallpaper she has in her store, Envy by MG.
One can imagine it took him hours, if not days to create the beautiful cake. Flicker was heartbroken when she saw Melissa and Teresa throwing the cake.
"I can’t describe how my heart sank when the cake and the silver platter were thrown across the restaurant. Like discarded garbage," Siggy Flicker explains in her Bravo blog, revealing she thought it was rude of Melissa to throw the cake and it was upsetting to see such a masterpiece being thrown around.
Siggy explains that Teresa apologized to her when she realized how upsetting it was to her. But Melissa explains that she didn't think it was so serious.
Could ruin a friendship
The two have been fighting over social media about this incident. Melissa has revealed that she doesn't think it's a big deal, while Flicker claims Gorga is trying to twist the story and make it a minor thing.
It sounds like these two aren't speaking these days because of this cake drama.
What do you think of Siggy Flicker's comments about the cake-throwing incident? Do you think it was rude of Melissa to throw the cake or do you think this has been blown out of proportion?
