The fans have been wondering for a while if "Counting On" would be back for another season or not. There has been a lot of speculation going on about if the show would come back or not. It all started when Jeremy Vuolo's mom announced that the show would be filming at an event she was having. She later took it down and TLC hadn't said a word. Then someone on the Duggar Family Official page responded to someone saying that the show would be back again. It wasn't ever really confirmed by TLC, , though.
Is the show coming back?
Now it is official that "Counting On" will be back for another season.
In an article from Us Magazine today, they shared the exciting news that Kendra Caldwell and Joseph Duggar are having a baby. They are really happy about this news. The couple just got married back in September and now they are having their first child together. At the end of the article, they snuck in the big news about "Counting On" being renewed. It was revealed that the show will be back in the spring, but they didn't share what date it will be back. That means in spring of 2018 you will get the chance to see the Duggars on television once again!
What will the new season be about?
The new season of "Counting On" is going to focus on the Duggar family, but it will be all about the older kids as usual.
One thing that has been revealed is that Derick Dillard won't be on the show anymore. TLC decided to part ways with him after finding out that he wasn't going to stop talking negatively about Jazz Jennings on social networks. There is a chance that Jill might not be on there at all, but nobody knows for sure. It would be odd without Jill considering her brother Josh isn't on the show already.
With 19 kids, there is still plenty of news to share about them, though.
Joy-Anna Duggar Forsyth is pregnant with her first child with husband Austin. Joseph and Kendra Duggar are also expecting their first child. You know that a lot of the season will focus on this, but it will also focus on the other older kids. There are always rumors that one of the boys or Jana is going to start courting.
If this was to happen, then it would happen on the show for sure. They usually don't share with the fans until things are pretty far along.
