Well, would you look at that? The Duggar family is in the news yet again and what a surprise it isn’t for a good reason. The reason the Duggar clan is in the news again is because they have been accused of Faking how religious and politically conservative they are. It is worth mentioning that the main reason this has probably been brought up is because Jill recently got a new piercing and apparently a new tattoo as well. Which means that with Jill’s new body modifications it is making some people question how conservative the family really is. You can continue to read below to find out what some people are saying about the Duggar’s religious and political views.
A report by Hollywood Gossip provides most of the facts relayed in this article.
What are people saying about this family’s conservative views?
Fans are now very curious to see if the Duggar family is really as conservative as they say they are. When Jill first got her nose piercing and now apparently a new tattoo it got people questioning their conservative beliefs. Well, that it not all the things the Duggar family has done that go against their conservative values. For example, when the women in the family were younger they all wore skirts that covered them to their knees. Well, now not only can some of the daughters like Jill and Jinger be seen wearing pants, but now the mother of the family has been spotted wearing a pair of pants as well.
It is also worth mentioning that Jinger has shown on her Instagram that she listens to other forms of music that just isn’t the gospel genre. For example, in one of her Instagram posts, there is a picture of her kissing her husband Jeremy Vuolo and the caption is lyrics from the 1965 song “L-O-V-E" by Nat King Cole.
What is the Duggar’s stance on the LGBT community?
The Duggar family is obviously opening their minds up to new fashion choices and different musical tastes, but some of their political views remain the same and as controversial as ever. For example, Jill Duggar’s husband Derick Dillard has just been kicked off “Counting On” after he made transphobic remarks towards transgender TLC star Jazz Jennings.
What Dillard did was use the wrong pronoun on purpose when describing Jennings online. This is what he said: “I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda.” Overall, no matter what their political or religious views are you can still catch up with them on their television show or you can follow them on their social media accounts.
