Jax Taylor's latest infidelity came as no surprise to his boss, "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Lisa Vanderpump. Days after the reality star admitted to cheating on girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, with former SUR Restaurant employee Faith Stowers, on "Vanderpump Rules," Vanderpump attended the Season 8 premiere party for "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" and discussed the recent storyline on her spin-off.

“I’m not surprised that he did," Lisa Vanderpump told Us Weekly magazine of Jax Taylor cheating. According to her, nothing Taylor does surprises her.

That said, she was surprised to hear the bartender admit to cheating on Brittany Cartwright just one episode after the rumors first began. As she explained, the drama played out between Taylor and Cartwright like that of a finale episode. “In the past, he would lie and we’d have a whole season of him lying and this time he just went, ‘I did it,'” she reflected.

Is 'Vanderpump Rules' scripted?

While many reality series have been accused of being scripted or editing storylines incorrectly, Lisa Vanderpump made it clear to Us Weekly magazine that the drama at SUR Restaurant is quite legitimate. In fact, she said that they could actually film the reality series all year long because there is so much content for "Vanderpump Rules" happening non-stop.

When Bravo TV producers first approached her about a spin-off series, Lisa Vanderpump said that they should make something really authentic that is based on the true relationships and friendship happening at her West Hollywood restaurant. “That’s why it works,” she explained.

What has Jax Taylor said about cheating on Brittany Cartwright?

During his own chat with Us Weekly magazine, Jax Taylor credited his decision to sleep with Faith Stowers as one of his "usual mess-ups." As he explained, he wasn’t thinking and felt quite horribly about what he had done. As for how his relationship with Brittany Cartwright is today, the reality star that he and Cartwright worked through his infidelity for months and are now in a "good place" in their relationship.
