Robert Herjavec was partnered with professional dancer Kym Johnson on "Dancing With The Stars" in Season 20. From the very beginning, viewers noticed there was some chemistry between the pair. They began dating during the season in 2015. They became engaged on February 27, 2016, and they got married in a lavish Los Angeles ceremony on July 31, 2016.
It was the first marriage for the 41-year-old professional Australian ballroom dancer and the second marriage for the 55-year-old "Shark Tank" investor.
The Croatian-Canadian businessman and television personality already has three children from a previous marriage.
Journey on 'Dancing with the Stars'
It is amazing how things worked out for Robert and Kym. When he competed on "Dancing with the Stars," he showed Kym his fleet of cars since he is an avid car collector and owns several rare vehicles. Robert told Kym if he won the Mirror Ball trophy, he would give her a Ferrari. He didn't win the championship, but he won Kym. Instead of her getting a Ferrari, she now shares the entire fleet of cars with her husband.
Kim's announcement
On Monday, December 11, Kym posted a sonogram on Instagram with a thumbs up, letting fans know she was expecting.
According to Us Weekly on Tuesday, December 12, it was reported that Kym and Robert are expecting twins. They were already happy as a married couple, now they have two more reasons to be happy together. The couple told People magazine that they waited so long that they decided to double up.
Reactions from fans
Both Robert and Kym have fans on social media. Many of them are very happy for them since people like a good love story --especially when they have seen it develop from the very beginning. Congratulatory messages have been posted for the couple and their twins, due in 2018.
It has not gone unnoticed that Kym and Robert are part of the twin trend. In 2017, Beyonce and Jay-Z became parents of twins and so did Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney.
Lots of other celebrities have twins, including Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell, Holly Robinson and Rodney Peete, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, Michael Strahan, Ricky Martin, Neal Patrick Harris, and Wanda Sykes. Those are just a few celebrities with twins. So, the trend continues with the Herjavecs. Congratulations to Kym and Robert, and all the others with their double blessings.
