Taylor Swift just earned two thumbs up's from Selena Gomez for her new album "Reputation" set to be released on November 10. The "Look What You Made Me Do" artist allowed her bestie to hear the full album before the rest of the world could listen to it.

According to ET Online, when asked about the album, Selena Gomez had nothing but praise for Taylor Swift for her dedication to her craft. The "Fetish" artist said her friend's passion for music was so inspiring and made her realize the importance of surrounding herself with people who aspire to grow and excel in their own field.

Inside Selena and Taylor's friendship

"I love her so much and want her to do what she does, and she’s killing it," she continued. "It’s everything you would want and more, so very proud and obviously a major fan.”

Selena Gomez has been friends with Taylor Swift since 2008. Both of them were dating the Jonas Brothers at that time. The "Kill Em with Kindness" singer said there was an instant connection between her and Tay and since then they have been good friends.

She said the best thing about Taylor Swift is that she always looks at the positive things regardless of the situation. She also commended her bestie for being strong despite the backlash from her critics.

The two had their first on-stage performance at Taylor Swift's "Speak Now" tour in 2011, where they sang "Who Says." The "Blank Space" singer said Selena Gomez is like a sister to her and described her as someone who could read her mind.

Taylor and Selena set to release new album

Both of them are now gearing up to release their new music. In fact, Taylor Swift has been teasing her upcoming album, "Reputation," since she dropped "Look What You Made Me Do" in August. She even wiped out all her social media posts as part of her comeback preparations.

She released another song off her album, titled "Ready for it?" a week after the lead single was dropped.

On Friday, the singer-songwriter unveiled a third song, called "Gorgeous," as a promotional single for the upcoming sixth album.

Selena Gomez, on the other hand, just released her new song, "Wolves," featuring Marshmello on Wednesday. This marked her first song release since she announced that she had undergone a kidney transplant a few months ago.

The 25-year-old artist said her past struggles had inspired her to write the emotional track.

She also hinted at her upcoming album and reassured that it will be more personal and meaningful for her and her fans.
