Val Chmerkovskiy is not feeling any pressure about starting his own family but admitted that he is ready to become a father. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, the "Dancing With The Stars" pro candidly shared his thoughts on fatherhood and getting older.

"I would love to have kids. I can't wait to be a father, had a great father -- still have a great father," he mused. "I think instinctively, as a man, that's something I want to do as well."

The 31-year-old dance pro also said that he is becoming better with age and thought he still has a couple more years before he will become a father.

Val Chmerkovskiy is happily dating his fellow dancer, Jenna Johnson, whom he met on "Dancing with the Stars" in 2014.

The two were first mired in dating rumors after they were photographed enjoying a lunch date in February. Their closeness has the fans believed that they were in a relationship although neither Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson has confirmed these speculations.

The rumors linking the "Dancing with the Stars" pros eventually died down until the two went on a trip together earlier this year. The pair made their relationship Instagram official after sharing a few snippets from the romantic getaway.

When asked about his rekindled romance with his fellow dancer, Val Chmerkovskiy said he is just grateful to be in "great a place" and to be "in love" with Jenna Johnson.

He added that his brother's marriage had changed his perception of love.

Maks Chmerkovskiy tied the knot with fellow "Dancing with the Stars" pro Peta Murgatroyd in July. "I'm happy that Peta is now officially a Chmerkovskiy and I officially have a sister," Val Chmerkovskiy said.

Meanwhile, the Chmerkovskiy siblings will team up for a group performance on the next "Dancing with the Stars" broadcast.

The two, along with their celebrity counterparts, were assigned to Team Phantom of the Opera with Drew Scott and Emma Slater. "I never want to battle it out with him, but I don't necessarily want him on my team either," Val Chmerkovskiy admitted.

Despite having these thoughts, the younger Chmerkovskiy thought their team would have a great chemistry on the dance floor. He is also happy to have Vanessa Lachey in the team, who has shown an impressive performance in the dance competition.
