We are already two episodes into “Luciferseason 3 and so far, we have heard nothing but bad news about the Sinnerman. The show’s new Big Bad is nothing but trouble for Lucifer Morningstar, who wants nothing more than to see him face-to-face. Well, the devil need not wait any longer since the mysterious Sinnerman will make his appearance soon.

The Sinnerman’s debut

The devil’s nemesis will debut in episode six of “Lucifer” season 3, which is aptly called “The Sinnerman.” The episode is directed by Marisol Adler with the screenplay from Jenn Kao.

Actor and writer Andy Cohen, known for “Ray Donovan,” will be a guest on the episode, where he will play the character named Joey Pileggi.

Details about what will happen in episode six remain under wrap. However, the title clearly suggests that the episode is Sinnerman-centric. Perhaps fans will learn more about the villain and understand why he has his sights set on Lucifer Morningstar (Tom Ellis).

Who will play the Sinnerman?

It was recently announced that “The Leftovers” alum Kevin Carroll will play the Sinnerman. He will appear in multiple episodes in season 3.

Who is the Sinnerman?

The Sinnerman is a slightly depraved criminal mastermind who, like Lucifer, also loves to give out favors. However, his payment is of the nefarious kind. He also has ties to Lieutenant Marcus Pierce (Tom Welling). In episode 2 of the series, we learned that Marcus knows the Sinnerman and knows how deadly he can be.

A recap from Entertainment Weekly revealed that the criminal killed someone close to Marcus in Chicago.

This is why Marcus warned Lucifer not to talk about the man so openly not just for his sake but also for his partner, Chloe Decker’s sake. Lucifer has nothing to lose if he gets himself entangled in the dangerous criminal’s business.

However, Chloe (Lauren German) does. She has her daughter, Trixie. In the end, though, Marcus offered to help Lucifer track down their common nemesis.

Why is Lucifer after the criminal?

In the premiere episode of “Lucifer” Season 3, we learned that the man ordered Lucifer’s kidnapping. He also returned his wings, much to the devil’s chagrin. Worst, the Sinnerman removed Lucifer’s demon face. The devil wants to know what the man wants from him. He wants to know whether he is his father’s emissary. Most of all, Lucifer wants answers about his adversary’s identity since he feels that he is up against a darker force.
