Joy-Anna Duggar and husband Austin Forsyth tied the knot this year. Although Duggar fans are happy about their marriage, some people continued criticizing Joy-Anna for not being transparent about her pregnancy. Fans are even wondering if the family is indeed telling the truth about the due date of Joy-Anna since her baby bump appears bigger than they claim.
Pregnancy details are few
Fans believe that the reality star got pregnant before her wedding which is why details about her pregnancy are scarce. Unlike her sisters Jill and Jessa, Joy-Anna does not share much about her pregnancy journey and doesn't post a lot of pictures of her growing baby bump.
But it is also possible that she is not fond of sharing things on social media since her Instagram account only has a few images.
Previously, she shared an image of herself holding a bowl of ice cream which has the words "eating for two" where she announced her pregnancy. According to the post, which includes a photo of her baby bump, they are thankful to announce that they are parents. She added that before her marriage, they prayed to God to give them children. She said that all organs of the baby are in place, quoting Psalm 139:13-16 which says that "I am fearfully and wonderfully made."
Joy-Anna's due date
Aside from that, she recently shared a picture of her baby bump on the same location with her first pregnancy picture.
Joy-Anna said that she can't wait to meet their baby, adding that she can already feel it kick. She also said that the baby is already about the size of a bell pepper and weighs around half a pound.
The same image was shared on the Duggars family blog, announcing that she is about 18 weeks along and her due date is around early March.
Said revelation comes after her husband's statement made headlines about how quickly they became pregnant after marriage.
Duggar pregnancies
Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth got married on May and announced their pregnancy in August. Originally, they are supposed to tie the knot on October but moved it earlier to May. According to Pop Culture, the change of the couple's wedding date is one basis that they wanted to get married earlier since they are already pregnant.
Joy-Anna follows the footsteps of her older sisters Jessa and Jill. She is the third Duggar daughter to have children. It is expected that Jinger Duggar, who just married Jeremy Voulo in November, will also get pregnant soon.
