Javi Marroquin is reacting to the swirling rumors, which claim his ex-wife, Kailyn Lowry, experienced abuse from her former boyfriend, Chris Lopez, whom she welcomed her third son with in August of this year. According to a new interview, Marroquin has Lowry's back as she continues to face a troubled relationship with the father of her son Lux Russell and will protect her if need be.
“[Kailyn] and I talk everyday and right now I know she’s safe,” Marroquin explained to Radar Online on October 19. “I got her back.”
As Radar Online revealed, a source recently said that Lowry had faced abuse on more than one occasion.
The Ashley's Reality Roundup was first to report on the shocking news. Then, a short time later, an insider claimed that despite the allegations, the 25-year-old mother of three continues to be dedicated to finding a way for Lopez to have a relationship with his baby boy.
How does Javi Marroquin feel about Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez's relationship?
While Lowry and Lopez appear to have had an up and down relationship since its start, Javi Marroquin told Radar Online that he wasn't very surprised by Lopez’s behavior. As he explained, he knows how this is going to play out because Lopez always made it clear that he didn't want to do anything for his son.
As "Teen Mom 2" fans will recall, Lowry and Lopez sparked a romance at the end of last year after Lowry's divorce from Marroquin was announced.
Then, after the longtime reality star learned she was pregnant with his child, she and Lopez parted ways.
Javi Marroquin's main priority for his family is 'safety'
Before hearing of the alleged abuse, Marroquin told Radar Online that his priority was “safety” and said he wants Lowry and all of her kids, including seven-year-old Isaac, three-year-old Lincoln, and two-month-old Lux Russell, to be safe.
“I do trust [Kailyn] in the sense where if they ever are not safe she will come to me and ask for help and get out of that situation," Marroquin said, adding that Lowry always puts her kids' safety ahead of her own. Continuing on, Marroquin said that he hopes his former wife can get away from the negativity of her situation with Lopez and be happy.
