Tragedy and death await our heroes when they battle the powerful Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.” Who dies is anyone’s guess. However, a recent Casting Call hints that the person is someone influential or close to the people. It fuels rumors that either Captain America or Vision becomes the casualty in the war against the Mad Titan.

Casting call for mourners

A report from Project Casting specified the casting for men and women over the age of 18 in all ethnicities. There is a need for extras who particularly have expressive faces and the good character looks.

The film’s directors, brothers Joe and Anthony Russo, will pick the actors based on their photos. Specifics on the body type are women whose dress size is between 0 and 8 and men who are no larger than 44 coat. The role is applicable for new faces only. Those who have already worked on the film or have booked for an upcoming appearance are not welcome. Filming for the said sad scene will happen on Oct. 23 in Atlanta, Georgia, at Pinewood Studios.

Funeral scene

There are no other details provided about the casting call. However, could it be for a funeral scene? If so, who dies? Perhaps, one of the heroes dies in “Avengers: Infinity War” during the battle with the Mad Titan. The Avengers already bid farewell to one of their own in “Age of Ultron,” when Scarlet Witch’s twin (Elizabeth Olsen) brother, Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson), sacrificed himself to save Hawkeye and a kid.

It was heart-wrenching to watch Scarlet Witch fall to her knees and cry when she felt her brother died. This time, whoever dies must be close to the people outside of the Avengers’ circle.

Captain America or Vision

Joe Russo previously hinted at a Major Character death when he said that the film puts an end to a journey “for it to have value.” A long-standing rumor claims that either Captain America or Vision dies in “Avengers: Infinity War.” The film centers on Thanos’ quest to claim all the Infinity Stones at any cost, and one is distinctly embedded in Vision’s forehead—the Mind Stone.

There is no way that Vision survives once Thanos gets his hand on the gem. On the other hand, Chris Evans (Captain America) hinted at his character’s demise in past interviews. He indicated that his contract with the franchise had already extended beyond his initial plans. Among the two, it is likely that the people would mourn for Captain America if he dies.

Tragic scene

Regardless, the casualties are bound to be large with earth at the mercy of the supervillain Thanos in “Avengers: Infinity War.” It is likely that the people mourn the loss of loved ones following the destruction that the Mad Titan would unleash around the globe.
