It is now time for Season 2 of the hit show "Vacation Creation" and Blasting News got the chance to talk to Andrea Feczko exclusively to get all of the details. The new season will be airing on Saturday mornings on ABC. Here is what Andrea had to say about this exciting show.

Details about "Vacation Creation"

How did your show “Vacation Creation" come about?

"Vacation Creation" was a group effort between Carnival, the production company Litton, and the producers. Whenever you start a show, you have a concept, but you never know what it's actually going to be until you get out on the road and into the editing booth.

"Vacation Creation" is all about giving deserving people the cruise of a lifetime and we really tried to give our families and individuals just that- complete with helicopters, boats, animals, fancy cars, etc. We really tried to live up to the dream vacation we had promised. My co-host Tommy Davidson and I really got along from the first meeting, so I think that helped with creating the fun and heart of the show.

What can fans expect from the show?

People can expect a lot out of "Vacation Creation". For season 2, we are going to a bunch of new destinations, like Norway, Quebec, and Costa Rica. We are meeting a bunch of new families with incredible stories and delving a lot more into the cultures and places- so you'll come away learning a lot!

For those who haven't seen the first season, Vacation Creation is a travel show, so you're going to see the world and a lot of places you may not have known existed! You'll learn a lot about the places, as well as the animals and cultures. But what I think makes "Vacation Creation" unique and one-of-a-kind is that it's a show with a lot of heart.

There's always a strong story to carry you through these cruises, and these stories may carry into your life. We had an eleven-year-old girl who was diagnosed with leukemia New Year's Day and we gave her a vacation of a lifetime to celebrate that she was in remission. When you go through something like that, you see the world in a different way- you're more grateful, appreciative, and in awe of this amazing planet.

I know that we feel that when we're with these families, and from what I've heard from viewers of the first season, it's something you'll feel at home, too. With so much craziness going on in the world, it's important to have a show like "Vacation Creation" to remind us that the world is beautiful, people are kind, and we are all so lucky to be here.

Andrea's favorite trip

What is your favorite trip that you were able to plan?

That's a tough one! Each vacation and each family is so unique! But there were a few plans that we made that completely exceeded expectations. With the Nebel family, we took them to whale watch in Alaska. Now, you never know what you're going to get, but this time we could've never planned this!

We ran into a superpod of orca whales. They were so close you could see them under the water next to the boat. It was especially rewarding because it was rainy and cloudy when we got into port. Tommy and I were both, thinking, well, we'll see how this goes! And it went well! We were all in tears watching these beautiful animals in their habitat.

What do you think is the best vacation someone on a budget can take?

Cruise vacations are a great way to see the world on a budget. I mean, it's essentially a floating, all-inclusive resort. So, the meals are included, the transportation from port to port is obviously included (hint: it's the ship), and so is the entertainment on board. To think outside of the box, I always tell people to look outside of the US.

Asia is incredibly affordable, especially Southeast Asia. The most time consuming and expensive part is the traveling by air, but once you're there, you can live like a king for 50 bucks a day. To be more specific, in many places in Thailand, Bali, Cambodia, Vietnam, you can live really well for basically nothing. In Bali, I stayed at a 5 star hotel for $37 a night- with this incredible breakfast included in the price. So, I think it's important to look at all the elements when booking a trip.

Any plans for Season 3?

I hope there's a season three! Right now, we are really excited to be moving to a new network – ABC ! for season two and we're still filming episodes for the season. Hopefully, people continue to enjoy the show and there is a season three.

And if there is another season, I definitely encourage everyone to follow my Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram as well as Ocean Vacations, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram, because we put out the casting notices through social media. So, if you have a loved one that you want to nominate for a vacation of a lifetime, we definitely want to hear your story and maybe they'll be traveling with Tommy and I in the near future!

Don't miss new episodes of "Vacation Creation" on Saturdays on ABC.
