shannon beador was devastated when she learned that her husband, David Beador, had been cheating on her. On previous seasons of "The Real Housewives of Orange County," Shannon revealed that her husband had broken her heart as he has seen another woman for months. It was someone that Shannon had known and she was devastated over the betrayal. Rather than becoming a statistic in Orange County, Beador decided to stick with David and work through their issues. She didn't want her daughters to experience a divorce. After reports of abuse surfaced, Shannon gained 40 pounds and her "The Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars questioned whether something was wrong in her marriage.
On this season of the show, many of her co-stars decided to participate in the Spartan Race. The race, which challenged them physically, became a couple activity. David decided to run the race by himself and his co-stars wondered why Shannon didn't participate. Some people expected that there was trouble in paradise, but Shannon reveals this isn't the case. According to a new report, Shannon Beador is now speaking out about their marriage, and she thinks things are just fine.
He tried to plan romantic getaway
In her Bravo blog, Beador reveals that her husband did try to plan a romantic getaway, but he scheduled it around a Spartan Race. It was his effort to get them on a trip together and bond in a different way.
Sadly, it wasn't enough for Shannon.
"When David suggested a romantic weekend away that was also a Spartan Race, I respectfully declined. We haven't been away alone together for a while and If we do, I want to know that it's because he wants to spend the time with me, not to kill two birds with one stone," Shannon explains in her Bravo blog.
Many of her co-stars would tell her to go on this romantic getaway, especially since he's trying to make it good again after his affair. But Shannon is demanding that a trip should be all about him and her spending time together.
Are they doomed?
Some of their "Real Housewives of Orange County" co-stars revealed that they would never let their marriage get into this kind of situation.
Lydia McLaughlin revealed she would try something out to support her husband, while other stars would just go shopping when David ran the race.
