Meghan King Edmonds was the one who introduced kelly dodd to Bravo producers a few years ago, and she thought that Kelly would be a great fit for "The Real Housewives of Orange County." The producers agreed and they decided to give her a chance to star on the show. Dodd didn't disappoint as she quickly got into heated arguments. It didn't take her long to get into trouble with Heather Dubrow, who walked out of a restaurant in tears. While Meghan was the one who introduced Kelly to the producers, she is now on the receiving end of Kelly's harsh comments and Meghan is very surprised.
She never expected that she and Kelly would be anything but friends.
As it turns out, however, Kelly doesn't appreciate the way King Edmonds has been speaking behind her back, so when Meghan went out with Kelly and the ladies, Dodd was very upset. She revealed that she felt she didn't trust Meghan and instead of taking her aside to discuss her issues, Kelly exploded on Meghan while they were out drinking. She completely lashed out, yelling at her that she should be at home with her daughter instead of spending time with her friends.
At the time, Aspen was between 2 and 3 months old and one can imagine that she was excited to get some time away from her baby. Raising a baby can be a lot of work and Meghan was probably happy to have a bit of a break.
Wasted precious time
According to a new tweet, Meghan King Edmonds decided to talk about the episode and revealed that she gives credit to Dodd, as Kelly was yelling at her in the restaurant. Meghan revealed that Kelly was right about one thing; she should have stayed home with her daughter instead of spending time with Kelly.
Clearly, that was a waste of precious time. None of the other ladies supported Kelly in what she had to say, as they already had children and understood the exhaustion that comes with it.
"Kelly was right, I shouldn't have wasted my precious night out with her, I would've much rather been home with my baby," King Edmonds wrote on Twitter as the episode aired.
No longer friends?
It sounds like Kelly is just trying to hurt Meghan even though these two are supposedly friends. Based on Meghan's tweet, it sounds like they are anything but friends these days, and it sounds like there's a long road ahead if they want to make up. Perhaps Meghan will never forgive Kelly for saying such things about her as a mom and bringing Aspen into the conversation. It definitely seems unfair to judge Meghan and her role as a mother, especially since Kelly hasn't really been along for the ride.
