Rapper Meek Mill began dating rapper and singer Nicki Minaj in early 2015 when he accompanied her during her 2015 world tour as an opening act. Unfortunately, in January 2017, the couple broke up and it looks like bitterness still lies between them as they appear to have had some bad blood since their breakup. Their split was detailed in her latest single titled "Regret in Your Tears" while he also talked about it in his single titled “1942 Flows.” Back in July 2017, he criticized her through his Instagram, branding everything fake. Recently, a source said that he was the one who broke up with her and not the other way around.
Meek broke up with Nicki
A source recently said it was Meek Mill who cut the relationship off and not Nicki Minaj. “He was the one who broke up with her and we been always known that from the beginning,” the source revealed via Dancehall Hiphop. The insider also added that he is permanently done with her and there are no chances of reconciliation. It seems that the reason for their breakup was a massive "deal breaker" and it appears that their bad blood can't be fixed now. The source though further said that it doesn’t matter anymore as to who really pulled the plug, especially as they have already moved on and are busy with other matters.
Nicki and Meek’s feud
Since their split in January 2017, both Meek Mill and Nicki Minaj have been dissing each other on social media.
Fans can recall in July when he posted a photo of himself on Instagram with a caption that clearly dissed the “Super Bass” singer. “When they come out with a cd about all the sh*t these fake b#%ches be doing????. Fake skin color, fake lashes, fake weaves, fake ass, fake mileage, fake nails, fake friends etc,” reads the caption.
He also added that when she takes off her “everything fake,” she certainly made him sick.”
The feud continues
Fans were quick to speculate that Meek Mill is certainly talking about his ex-girlfriend Nicki following the release of her single "Regret in Your Tears" that detailed their relationship and breakup. Apparently, he is not impressed with the track and has continued to diss her through his social media.
Their fans though, feel sad for them especially as they had a two-year relationship that ended in a mess. We’re pretty sure that they could never be in the same room together.
