Pop music sensation Lady Gaga announced that she will cancel the Europe leg of her world tour because of the recent health conditions that she has been experiencing, Abc News reported. She is presently traveling the world for her “Joanne” tour but most of the dates will have to be postponed.

Live Nation officially confirmed this news from the singer and released a statement via ABC News. The concert promoter said that Lady Gaga is suffering from “severe Physical Pain” that has prevented her performing in concert.

The pop music icon will spend the next seven weeks “proactively working” with the doctors to treat her of trauma and the conditions associated with her health.

The statement also added that she is “devastated” about being unable to perform for her fans in Europe.

The Europe leg of her “Joanne” world tour should have begun this week, with a performance in Barcelona, Spain on September 21 and in Koln, Germany on October 28. She is also supposed to visit France, the Netherlands, Belgium and the United Kingdom.

Twitter post

Lady Gaga also announced via Twitter that she has been diagnosed with fibromyalgia, a medical condition that affects the entire human body. Fibromyalgia is a disorder characterized by severe muscle pain and is paired with other symptoms such as fatigue, NBC News reported.

The singer also posted a long statement on social media that detailed what she personally feels about her current condition.

She wrote, “I have always been honest about my physical and mental health struggles.”

Lady Gaga added that these conditions are complex and very hard to explain, as they are still trying to figure out what exactly these conditions are. She wrote that she will reveal more about her health status as she gets stronger, but now she already wants to raise awareness about this disorder.

She also shut down the rumors that she is just making things up for publicity. The singer wrote, “If you knew me, you would know this couldn’t be further from the truth.”

New documentary

Because of the same health issues, the pop singer was also unable to perform at the “Rock In Rio” music festival being held in Brazil.

She is also slated to tell more about her physical issues and pain in her upcoming documentary titled “Gaga: Five Foot Two.”

Lady Gaga also revealed that she is currently under the care of her doctors in order to gain strength for her future performances. She continued, “I’m a fighter.”
