Allegedly, the couple managed to hide from the public’s eye whenever they go on a date. In fact, the Tom Cruise’s former wife was even dressing in disguise to hide her real identity from the paparazzi.

After years of hiding and speculations, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx finally went out in the open and packed a major public display of affection in Malibu.
The two seemed to be enjoying their holiday while walking on the shore hand in hand, not minding the eyes watching them.
Now, it is a big question why after all these years, Holmes and Foxx just revealed their relationship now. Allegedly, Radar Online reported that the couple has been keeping their relationship a secret because of the 38-year-old actress’ agreement with Tom Cruise. The deal was part of their divorce’s settlement in 2012 or the so-called “Tom Cruise Clause.”
This clause prevented the “Dawson’s Creek” alum to talk about her estranged husband in any way, or about Scientology, or go on a date publicly for five years after their divorce. As it is now 2017 and the five-year arrangement is already done, Holmes and Fox are now free to reveal their love publicly.
A confirmation of their romance
As seen in the photos shared by Daily Mail, Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx were both barefoot while they were playing on the shore.
The “First Daughter” star was wearing a cute blue dress, a fedora hat, and a pair of black sunglasses. The 49-year-old actor, on the other hand, was sporting a simple black shirt, workout pants from Adidas, a sunhat, and dark shades.
He was also seen enjoying the water by plunging knee-deep into the wave while still being fully dressed. Although the two have yet to confirm their romance, a couple of sources told People that they have been spending some time together for a long while now.
“This is not some intense romance,” an insider told the publication in 2015.
The source added that they are actually longtime friends. As they are now both matured, attractive, and single, it is quite expected that some will think that they are dating. “But contrary to those conclusions, they’re not about to run off and make some serious commitment,” the informant continued.
