Congratulations are in order for Kate Middleton and Prince William as Kensington Palace confirmed today that they are expecting baby number three. According to The Washington Post, the Duchess Of Cambridge is dealing with hyperemisis gravidarum, just like her past two pregnancies. Hyperemisis gravidarum is a medical condition where a pregnant woman is suffering from extreme morning sickness. That said, Kensington Palace also announced that Middleton will not be able to attend some of her upcoming engagements because of her pregnancy and current medical condition.

Some have noticed that the royal couple might have planned their growing family to be two years apart.

Prince George, their eldest son, is currently four years old while Princess Charlotte is two years old. The offsprings of Kate Middleton and Prince William are considered to be heirs to the throne.

A new blessing in the family

Kate Middleton's third pregnancy has been one of the hottest rumors for the past few months. A few months ago, the suspicion that Middleton was pregnant grew even bigger when she was spotted wearing comfy sneakers instead of her sexy stilettos. Kensington Palace has neither confirmed or denied the pregnancy rumors, until today.

Now that Kensington Palace has finally confirmed Kate Middleton's pregnancy, everyone is excited to see the fifth in line heir to the throne.

The first four heirs to the throne are Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

What Kate Middleton's pregnancy means for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle

Ever since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle made their relationship public, many have been comparing the latter with Kate Middleton. The public has been making a lot of comparisons between the two which may have resulted in an unspoken competition.

While Middleton may have a royal title, Markle is a well-known celebrity in her own right.

However, if Prince Harry decides to marry Meghan Markle, the latter is expected to be given a royal title as well. With that in mind, many are predicting that the competition and comparisons between Markle and Middleton will go deeper.

Now that Middleton is pregnant with baby number three, Prince Harry will become the sixth in line to the throne. If Markle has any dreams of her boyfriend being the king of the British monarchy, she will have to wait for quite some time. However, it appears to be good news for Prince Harry, who has shared in an interview with Newsweek that he doesn't really want anything to do with the crown.
