The Brown family has been documenting their unconventional lifestyle for seven seasons now. The brood is popularly known for shunning the modern society to live a simpler life in the Alaskan wilderness.

However, the “Alaskan Bush People” stars are currently under fire after sources claimed that the entire show is fake. Recent reports claim that the family stays at a luxurious lodging when they are not filming for the Discovery series.

Ami Brown hospitalized again

Latest updates about the “Alaskan Bush People” star suggest that Ami Brown is back in the UCLA Medical Center again.

The news came days after it was revealed that the Brown matriarch’s lung cancer has progressed.

The Brown family, together with their avid followers, was devastated after Ami was diagnosed having a type 3B lung cancer last month. “Ami started getting sick months ago, and we didn’t know what it was, but it changed from the point of ‘something’s wrong’ to ‘something’s wrong’” Billy Brown said on the June 28 episode.

Shortly after the diagnosis, the family decided to shut down their homestead to focus on Ami’s medication. Sheila McCormack previously told People that the Brown matriarch needs to undergo radiation therapy five times a week for one and a half months.

Billy’s wife will also have to get a four-hour chemotherapy once a week.

The “Alaskan Bush People” executive producer even revealed that Ami is now a frail 89.4 lbs. and has a 3 percent survival rate only.

Ami Brown was surrounded by her family when turned 53-years-old on Thursday, August 31. Billy and his seven kids decided to gather to celebrate what could be the matriarch’s last birthday.

Rain Brown slams critics

Meanwhile, Rain posted a photo to defend herself from after her critics slammed her for sharing selfies while her mom is sick with cancer. Some netizens claimed that the “Alaskan Bush People” star should stop taking photos of herself while Ami Brown is in the hospital receiving radiation treatments and chemotherapy.

“Yep another selfie,” the 14-year-old reality star wrote. “You gotta love yourself, kids, no matter who try’s to push you down, you wouldn’t believe the people I have had trying to make me mad and a bad person, but I just throw love they’re way along with a witty remark,” Rain added.

In other news, the Brown family is reportedly in Colorado filming “Alaskan Bush People” Season 8. However, it should be noted that Discovery Channel has yet to confirm these claims.
