According to Entertainment Tonight, Justin Bieber just added his name to the celebrities who helped the victims of Hurricane Harvey.
The 23-year-old singer announced his help on Instagram, saying that he donated at least $25,000. The money was sent to the American Red Cross relief effort. This should definitely aid the thousands of people displaced and injured during the devastating attack of the hurricane.
Bieber said that just by “looking” at the photos from the area, he felt terribly “sorry.” He sent his regards to the families that have “lost their homes,” especially those who lost their lives. He further announced that he would accept the Kevin Hart challenge and donate the amount. “I love you guys in Houston,” he said.
Other celebrities donate
Just recently, the titular comedian Kevin Hart donated the same amount and urged his celebrity friends to do the same.
According to him, what is happening in Houston is a serious matter. People are not only in bad shape, but they are also needing all the help that they can get. Hart is just among the plenty of celebrities who took the step and helped the victims of Hurricane Harvey. Following Hart’s challenge, iconic figures such as Sandra Bullock, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Taylor Swift donated.
Other celebrities such as Sean Lowe of the “Bachelor” and Miranda Lamber also helped in sending donations.

It is worth noting that Bieber earned the ire of some people after he cancelled his Purpose World Tour. Many were disappointed, as they expected to see the popular pop star. They have even bought tickets early, though the management promised to refund them.
